Our quarter sheet frosting images are 8 x 10 1/2 inches of actual printed area. This will fit perfectly on a quarter (1/4) sheet cake. You will want to place your image on BEFORE adding piping on top.
It can also be centered on a half (1/2) sheet cake with room for piping or your own extra decorations.
Frosting images work with any food item that contains moisture (i.e. frosting or items that can be slightly misted) and will set.
***They do work best with fresh buttercream frosting.***
In most cases, frosting color does not matter and will not effect the image. However, if your image is mostly "white" (non-printed areas), chocolate or dark frosting may "tint" the frosting sheet under the white areas.
Just a few examples: cakes with ANY type of icing (store bought or homemade), non-dairy, fondant/sugar paste, frosted brownies, frozen or ice cream cakes, cheesecake, double crust pies, poured chocolate, pudding or custard. Just use your imagination!
The sheets are made from a very thin layer of frosting (not rice or wafer paper). Simply remove the paper backing and place it on your frosted cake. The sheet melts into the frosting taking on it's flavor. The only thing you will taste from the sheet is a hint of vanilla.
All images are personalized for free. Messages are placed in the best possible area as not to cover the actual image when possible. Color and font are decided based on the image coloring (some colors will not show on darker images). No guarantee is made on color or font requests.
DO NOT REFRIGERATE OR FREEZE THE FROSTING SHEET BY ITSELF! THIS WILL CAUSE IT TO BECOME BRITTLE AND CRACK.
